Responsibilities included the development of geologic and resource modeling as well as resource evaluation for international clientele. Provided various clientele with on-site mine geology and grade control support.Contract Grade Control Geologist. This position provided a full-range of mine geology services and engineering support for Hycroft Mine, was also responsible for the initial set-up of grade control, development, and implementation of overall mine geology program. Other duties included; short-range planning of pit, waste dump, and leach pad, in addition to weekly mine plans and updating designs as needed. Performed resource model and mine production reconciliation monthly. Trained permanent staff and assisted Chief Geologist with the supervision of technical staff when required.Contract Grade Control Geologist. Responsible for daily blast hole logging, high wall mapping, and grade control, other duties included the compilation of geologic pit high wall mapping to create a geologic model of mined pits. Entrusted to train and supervise permanent geology staff.

Duties included; daily blast hole logging, high wall mapping, and compilation of geologic data, collaboration with the drill and blast department regarding geologic issues related to in-pit blasting concerns. Was a key member of the team that coordinated with the high wall consulting firm on monitoring and geologic issues related to high wall stability. Was responsible for an in-pit infill drilling program, including design, scheduling, and implementation as well as monitoring the program’s budget. Other duties included; assisting staff hydrologist with well monitoring, modeling, and interpretation of de-watering issues, grade control support, mining of high grade material, guiding numerous interns, and providing daily support throughout the mine.

Mcgrath Alaska

Duties included; daily stope and decline mapping, stope sampling, and guiding mine department on mining of the ore. Designed and supervised underground development drilling, including hole design, drill station locations, supervising drillers, and the logging of drilled core. Worked with the senior geologist in the development of geologic and resource models, throughout the property.

Ely Nevada

Responsible for: daily blast hole logging, high wall mapping, grade control, selective mining, training staff, as well as generating maps and cross-sections via GEMCOM and monitoring exploration drilling near the pits, for the exploration group. Coordinated mining claims on the property.
