“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston ChurchillAs far back as I can remember I have always enjoyed solving problems. I enjoy looking at a problem, breaking it down, and then devising a solution. I decided to go to Temple University for Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics because where else in the professional world will you find such a myriad of issues needing to be solved than in the business world. Furthermore, I decided to take Finance and Economics as my concentrations because they allow complex issues to be understood and explained. During my time at Sky King Fireworks I was quickly recognized as the problem solver and took on the role of Business Analyst. In this position I was able to streamline and improve many company processes. I worked on the POS and ERP implementation discovery teams and provided insight into the business processes and functional workflows. I developed an Excel based logistics solution that reduced shipment receiving time by 300%. During my time at Terracycle I have been given further opportunities to lead a team to critically analyze a business and make improvements. I have been able to map complex supply chains, forecast and assess potential risks, improve operational processes to reduce costs, and lower time spent on tasks. All of these projects have allowed me to do what I enjoy, while also being able to bring greater value to the companies I have worked with.
