I am a second degree black belt in Fudozen Kempo Karate. From the age of 13 onward, I always had a goal and the motivation to achieve what I set my mind to. Upon completing my black belt at the age of 17 I was always taught that the most important aspect of growing as an individual is to continue to learn and be open to new teachers. In college, I continued that pursuit to obtain a bachelors degree in business administration and marketing. Being able to learn and the motivation to do so has followed me with every job and even those that I held a leadership role in, the Housing Manager position at the University at Albany, I still realized the potential for new strategies to be discovered and new connections to be made. I hope to continue growing and developing many skills with the same passion as I had at 17 when I started my journey as a Black Belt and beyond.
