The natural progression of skills needed to manage an integration team was forced and propelled forward out of necessity, when the owner of the company suffered a heart attack and health issues that caused him to be out for an extended period of time. Scheduling, Project Management and Client interfacing became an extension of my skillset to continue the growing success of a mid-sized integration company. Management skills learned earlier in life from the hospitality industry became very important in controlling the environment of Viper Cabling. Key members including myself stepped up to take on a whole new level of responsibilities. Bidding, site surveys, building documentation and creating policies to implement ideas and structure for work when the leader, coach and owner was absent.

Continued to advance in the broadcast integration world while taking on the challenges of more traditional A/V projects. Worked for high profile clients such as NFL Networks, MSG Forum, Viacom, General Dynamics and Direct TV LABC to name a few. Continued to advance in termination skills along with taking on the responsibilities of leading technicians in completing advanced A/V and Broadcast projects.

Was Introduced to the world of commercial broadcast environment. Quickly became one of the most requested employees of a small integration company, solidifying my relationships with key individuals and companies in the industry. Responsibilities included proper installation, termination and cable harness dressing of network, video, control and audio cables. Understanding documentation and the differences of documentation from company to company to complete jobs and projects quickly and efficiently.

Installation of Direct TV and Dish Network residential systems in the greater Atlanta area, southern Florida in the Miami/Dade area and Orlando area. This was to include the mounting of satellite dishes, running and terminating coax and network cable for infrastructure of satellite systems. Custom audio video systems for high end residential customers were also projects that were built under this company. Mounting of TV's, speakers, and A/V receivers along with Crestron Systems were installed for customers when the infancy of automation was beginning.
