Hired through Brookdale Senior Living after the sale of building fell through resulting in a mass exodus of management, staff, and residents. Tasked with growing the community, creating an operational budget for remainder of the year, and implementing policies and procedures to help create a sense of balance and trust amongst those that remained through the fallout of the sale. • In a span of 2 months, hired a full staff of 50+ directors and employees.• Implemented new programs to aid in helping the building feel more like a community.1. Created Waffles with Brian every week as a way of staying connected with residents.2. Established multiple staff incentive programs to keep turnover low including a referral program for staff to utilize for new job openings within the building and a “Kudos” program where Management and other staff were able to give out tickets to be redeemed for gifts as a thank you for great work.3.
