Accepted a Volunteer Early Retirement Package to retire from Colgate. My time at Colgate was an increadible experience. I got to work with most of the best companies and individuals in the high speed plastics closure packaging segment of the industry, which I have come to believe is the hardest segment. We worked with the best technologies and pushed them into new areas always trying new things. The challenges and achomplishments we shared together made for a rich and rewarding career. Responsible for the implementation of the company scientific molding initiative across 11 molding facilities in North America, China, and the U.K. Obtained RJG Master Molder Level III Trainer certification. Performed concentrated training with hands-on skill set development of Process Engineers and Molding Technicians and the personal certification of 8 Master Molder Level 1 candidates. Compiled and published a monthly progress report to report savings and improvements; realized over $1.4 Million in annualized savings in an 18 month period.
