I am a Virginia Tech graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering employed full-time at GORDON, working as a Project Engineer.I excelled at rigorous courses at Virginia Tech in Civil Engineering including: Design of Steel Structures, Reinforced Concrete, Wood Construction Engineering, and Sustainable Land Development. While achieving my Bachelor’s Degree I accumulated years of experience in structural engineering, site civil engineering, and material sciences. I gained valuable knowledge in various industries while also developing powerful team-working, time management, communication, and computer skills.My current position as a site civil project engineer at a diverse engineering company encompasses the full spectrum of site civil insight and practice that I learned during my time as a student. I have grown exponentially working with a smaller, more closely interconnected department and have touched all aspects of the site civil processes; design skills, coordination and communication with clients, site plan development, research, quality control, as well as management and mentoring experience.Years of a diverse and highly interpersonal work history have molded me into a better engineer that can accomplish tasks under tight deadlines, work and communicate well with teams and clients, and adapt to any environment and foreign task that crosses my path.
