I’m a hard-working, self-motivated leader with a wide range of experiences in the transportation and logistics industry to include dedicated truckload, warehouse, and final mile operations. As the P&L owner of multiple fleets, I have grown revenue and profits by meeting commitments to customers, creative problem solving, and a disciplined approach to cost management. I have worked closely with a wide range of customers across multiple industries to meet their specific and often unique transportation needs. I am a good listener, and analytical thinker, adept at identifying and communicating solutions that add value to all stakeholders. I’ve led multiple startups and fleet conversions and excel at the preparation, communication, and team building required to be successful in challenging, and stressful environments. I have also been instrumental in improving the results of existing operations through applying LEAN principles, coaching individuals to reach their potential, and continuous improvement. In the current environment of shrinking driver capacity, I know the importance of attracting and retaining quality drivers, and have excelled at building positive relations with associates without compromising on safety or performance. No operation can be successful without good leadership, and I pride myself in developing strong leaders, by identifying and mentoring talented individuals.
