As the head of Marketing operations, I led out in project management for the entire Jazz organization and its subsidiaries. Our large team of creatives innovated and collaborated on all brand touch-points; including brand partnerships, brand collaborations, brand marketing and brand evolution. As part of my role, I continually aimed to improve processes, tools, vendor and corporate partner relationships for brand creative and company needs. Within the creative leadership group, I helped drive departmental organization, seasonal planning, and brand strategy. I also acted as consultant for all Jazz departments needing guidance on integrating brand into new, revenue-generating, experiential partnership efforts.

As the Content Strategy VP, I worked under the Marketing Department umbrella to prepare and execute the content distribution plan for the Utah Jazz. My role was cross-functional between our in-house broadcast team, our social & digital team and corporate partnerships team. I owned responsibility for content on Utah Jazz channels; including UtahJazz.com, the mobile app, and social media platforms. My main purpose was to provide engaging, meaningful content for fans while also taking advantage of key moments to strategically distribute those pieces of creative content.

As the Executive Producer of Content, I worked tirelessly to plan and execute the production of compelling video content for the Utah Jazz broadcasts, social media platforms, other departments within the organization. I was tasked with setting up interviews, other video production shoots relating to the Utah Jazz players and their various community relations events. In addition to pre-planned content, I performed basic producer operations relative to game-day broadcasts, and facilitated communication between the production truck and pregame/postgame/halftime set crew, and broadcast engineers. My role was key in executing revenue-generating content pieces on a broadcast which airs in the SLC Market (DMA 34) and beyond; Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, and parts of western Montana and eastern Washington.

My primary role as Senior Morning Producer was to make sure every newscast was executed without a hitch. I was not only in charge of crafting every script written for the anchors to read. I also made sure all breaking and developing news was first reported by our team, I built supporting graphics for our scripts, and I was placed in charge of two associate producers and two reporters. I was also responsible for posting on, and monitoring all KSL social media accounts from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. That entailed strategic content planning for KSL’s key audience during the early morning hours.

As the Senior Morning Producer for Idaho's #1 Newschannel and NBC affiliate, I was solely responsible for accomplishing overnight tasks most news stations have covered by several different employees. I made hourly beat calls to police and county dispatchers. If there was breaking news during my shift, I was responsible for delegating photographers and reporters to the scene, as well as turning press release copy into a concise script ready for morning television.While at KTVB, I was named the winner of the 2015 Idaho Press Awards and was twice nominated for a 2015 Northwest Regional Emmy Award.

As one of just a handful of Production Assistants for FOX NFL Sunday, my daily tasks included compiling shot-lists for edits in producing FOX NFL Sunday billboards, teases, features, and other packages. I also provided personal game-day assistance and constant game highlights & updates for FOX NFL Sunday host, Curt Menefee. On Saturdays, I provided personal game-day assistance and constant game highlights & updates for FOX College Saturday talent/former athlete, Eddie George. I was often personally requested to organize paperwork for FOX Sports executive-level employees due to my coordination skills. Being trusted by my superiors, I worked closely & professionally with on-air talent, former/current NFL players, and celebrities (Billy Crystal, Samuel L. Jackson, Sean P. Diddy Combs) in Live and taped production. Those requests required scheduling shoots and providing FOX studio lot necessities for high-profile clients.

A truly unique undergraduate student experience, I was able to work as the Sports Director for the student-run news channel; KBYU 11News, which aired every weekday at noon within the Salt Lake City DMA, ranked #32 at the time. I helped manage the coverage of all collegiate news by our student producers and reporters. My daily tasks included editing scripts, rundowns, and crafting the overall content experience to assure cohesiveness.

As part of my undergraduate curriculum, I was placed in charge of enterprising at least two stories per week for weekday newscasts which aired on KBYU; a local channel airing within DMA #32 - Salt Lake City. During my junior and senior years of college, my responsibilities extended to producing our 30-minute Friday sportscast, scheduling exclusive interviews with collegiate/professional athletes, coaches, and administrators. I was one of only a handful of students extended an offer to enjoy paid travel by the university outside-of-state to provide coverage for our news channel and to represent Brigham Young University's highly revered broadcast program.
