Currently, I work as a care coordinator/manager at Evergreen Health where I assist patients enrolled in Medicaid and living with one or more chronic health conditions meet their mental and physical health goals. I collaborate with patients and their health care team to create a care plan that helps meet their needs. I love helping my patients navigate the complex healthcare system to assist in achieving their goals and living their healthiest life while ensuring all of their providers are communicating about their care.At Evergreen, I use skills gained through my experience at Teachers College, Columbia University, where I was enrolled in the Psychological Counseling and Ed.M. in Mental Health Counseling program. In 2022, I graduated as a Psychology major with a minor in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo with a 3.9 GPA and member of Phi Beta Kappa. There, I gained diverse experience as a research assistant, teaching assistant and member of the campus' Presidential Scholars where I met with the Office of the Provost and other student panelists while representing psychology students. Additionally, I served as a member of the campus’ mental health advocacy program where I learned copious helping/counseling skills which I apply to my social work today and will forever use throughout my career. In the future, I look forward to gaining more hands-on and exciting experiences and knowledge to further my career in mental health and social work.
