The future of all planning lies in making sure the built environment exists in harmony with the natural environment. As an Urban Planner, my passion is to implement strategies that will help cities become more sustainable. I hope to have the opportunity to partner with other Planners, Architects and Engineers in my quest to help both the natural and built environments exist in harmony.I currently work for the City of Farmers Branch as the Senior Planning Technician with the Planning. In this role, I have had the opportunity to cultivate skills and gain knowledge that will serve me well in this important milestone towards becoming a full-fledged Planner. I simultaneously have the pleasure of working for a wonderful City and continue to help the community develop into its best self!My interests in Planning extend beyond Farmers Branch. I am currently in pursuit of my Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). I serve the university's Student Planning Association as both Treasurer and Student Representative for the Midwest Section of the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association. Within the Midwest Section of the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association, I serve on the board as both Emerging Planning Leader (EPL) Representative and UTA Student Representative.
