ENTREPRENEUR - EDUCATOR - ADVOCATE - AI ENTHUSIASTBrian Acord as an entrepreneur - Brian has been immersed in the world of technology and artificial intelligence since programming on his Apple IIe as a youth. After being the youngest Director at Tech Data, he founded the NLP startup Attensity, which powers enterprise AI applications globally. Current programs include: - Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program. Targeted at Middle-School Students with limited exposure to technology, this program reaches 450+ students a year through its 3-week, all-day summer camps, Fall and Spring Open Houses, and school visits. Program includes hands-on interaction with $250k in technology including: AI, Robotics, VR, AR, Coding, Drones, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Community Engagement, and Sustainability. - Everyday Entrepreneur Program. This 10-week program is offered to refugees, immigrants, and new Americans, unhoused population, and is also taught at men's and women's correctional facility at the Utah State Prison. The course covers all aspects of launching a new business including: opportunity evaluation, identifying target audience, minimal viable product, unique value proposition, marketing, finance, strategy, technology, first-steps, mentoring, and launch. - Kitchen Incubator. An extension of the EEP program. This is designed for entrepreneurs with food-related businesses that need to leverage a commercial kitchen to test recipes and operations while they launch and scale their (catering, food truck, pop-up market, etc.) businesses. - Commissary Kitchen. Early stage companies can leverage our commercial kitchen in conjunction with our business incubator space to help them grow their food-related businesses into a stand-alone company.
