Hello!I am Briana Gonzalez, a driven third-year student at the University of Michigan. I am pursuing a unique double major in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, combined with Creative Writing and Literature and a minor in Gender and Health. My academic journey perfectly aligns with my professional ambitions, guiding me towards a career in law. I am particularly passionate about both venture capital/corporate and medical law, aiming to champion the growth of small, underrepresented companies while addressing healthcare disparities and advocating for universal access to high-quality healthcare services.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am deeply immersed in campus life, leveraging my passion and skills in impactful leadership roles. As the President and Marketing Chair for The Quito Project, I spearhead initiatives for social change. As the Vice President and Director of Communications and Marketing for YENIKA Editorial, I shape influential narratives. Furthermore, I actively contribute as the Secretary for the Latinx Undergraduate Legal Association, strategically amplifying the voices and opportunities of Latinx students in the legal field. My role as the Culture and Celebrations Director for the La Casa Department of Culture and Celebrations further bolsters my ability to foster inclusive and vibrant campus environments.Employed as a Research Assistant and Patient Attendant at Michigan Medicine, I am hands-on in healthcare, refining my understanding of the intersection between medical knowledge and legal principles.Beyond academia, I seek inspiration and solace by the ocean, indulging in my passion for travel and my dedication to global health. Exploring diverse cultures through their culinary traditions and immersing myself in compelling literature are among my favorite ways to recharge and stay motivated.
