Volunteering my time as a designer and founding member of this organization. Our goal is to act as advocates for the community of Baltimore by activating invigorating design projects that will improve and revitalize our neighborhoods.

I worked as a PMA in support of a contract we had with the Veteran's Benefits Administration specifically in their Office of Business Process Integration as support for the Business Liaison team. Activities consisted of running governance meetings for high level principals, creating charts and diagrams using Microsoft Visio, coming up with innovative ways to present information to large numbers of people located in various offices around the country, and tracking IT needs of VBA business lanes.

Within Facilities Management Services I worked in the engineering department under the supervision of project managers by providing drawings and renderings and delivering them in the form of design presentations for proposed renovation areas on the hospital’s campus according to previously allotted time and budget schedules. Within the Office of Strategic Planning, I assisted in coordinating the 2013 Strategic Planning Retreat for executive leadership of the hospital, coordinating the organization’s outreach events, the planning processes of hospital activities for an organization that is responsible for a $400mil budget, redesigning and facilitating New Employee Orientation and the Intern Program, overseeing activations and building projects according to time and budget schedules, and the creation and standardization of graphic design publications for the hospital under the office of the Medical Center Director; and completed phases of Program Management Training and MS Project Training.

I worked as an intern for three consecutive summers in the HIV/AIDS Bureau from 2007 to 2009 where I conducted research on prevention techniques and strategies for people living with HIV/AIDS aged 18-24. I then compiled that information into PowerPoint presentations used for increasing awareness of government programs for HIV/AIDS patients, current and prospective. I assisted with office tasks, research, presentations, maintenance and upkeep of government programs and I also worked with data that is used to determine how much federal funding will be given to health clinics each year. In the summer of 2011, I worked as an intern for one summer in the Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Services where I set up a database for eligible nursing students to receive financial assistance for tuition and student loans. During that time, I also created presentations and guidelines to assist and instruct office staff on using twitter/ social networking to effectively market their services
