As a member of the WELS Communications Services team, Briana is responsible for all graphic design, web design, and creative projects created at the administrative level of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. She serves as the sole graphic designer creating graphic content for web, print, and digital platforms. Briana assists in updating websites and social media platforms with fresh content daily. Her role as the creative services coordinator allows her to serve as the primary liaison for WELS to their printing vendors and representatives, and she strives to maintain satisfactory communication with them.

Briana enjoys working on freelance projects for clients in the area. Projects range from "save the date" postcards to company direct mailings and business cards. Briana is available for hire as a freelancer on a project-by-project basis, and loves to hear your requests.

As an adjunct professor and experienced professional, Briana monitors two design labs at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Current classes consist of designing in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and learning design principles within graphic design.

As a contracted freelance graphic designer, Briana operated her own small business (Lazzaroni Design) and partnered with CompounDesign as a designer and marketing assistant for them. Projects included, but were not limited to: advertisements, magazine spreads, business cards, brochures, direct mailers, logo and poster design. She also helped manage some of CompounDesign's web client's sites, as well as, helped with copywriting, social media, and marketing communications for those clients.

As intern, Briana created promotional materials including: posters, flyers, programs, stuffers, brochures for the Milwaukee Children's Choir's upcoming performances and fundraising events.She worked with fellow interns and assisted in creating marketing plans to increase event attendance, recruit singers, and support fundraising efforts.Other projects included: Writing and distributing content for press releases, e-newsletters, direct mail, online outlets to news outlets, donors, and area schools; building and maintaining relationships with press contacts; and, researching media coverage of MCC events and singers.

As intern, Briana assited in designing and organizing the office which included assisting the full-time graphic designers, maintaining printers, and ordering office supplies. Briana was involved in the "behind the scenes" projects of a marketing and design agency, and often times could have been found trimming and spray mounting mockups for clients and concepting projects for the other designers.

As the student graphic designer, Briana assisted the WLC Public Affairs office in creating yearbook advertisements, event folders, promotional flyers, and logos. Other jobs included maintenance of social media and the college website. Briana assisted on some photography shoots, provided copywriting, and planned events.

During the summer months for 6 years, Briana updated computers and software for the Lake Geneva Area School District under the direction of the district technology director. She worked with district administration, faculty, and staff at four area elementary and middle schools and one area high school. Jobs included transferring servers, and installing and replacing old and outdated laptops and desktop machines. During these years, Briana gained great problem solving skills and was here that her passion for technology and design started.
