Planned, lead, coordinated and implemented core and non-core programs and experiences for children in small group settings. Supervised and mentored campers at all times in daily activities. Monitored and responded to incidents, such as behavioral problems or accidents, logging events and maintained records. Instructed students during swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA policies and guidelines. Also supervised children age 2 through 7 in the Y-Play area and children age 7 to 14 in the Interactive Fitness Zone.

Worked as a volunteer with the Jumpstart Program, while earning my Child Development degree at CSUDH. While there, also served as a Team Lead with 2 other students where we to organized, planned and coordinated various children’s activities. Also supervised the development of the student’s lesson plans for each day.

Assisted customers with the in-store check-out process. Responsibilities included ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change. As a stock clerk, responsibilities included ensuring that merchandise is managed effectively, efficiently and placed in the appropriate location in the store and in the warehouse.

Led campus tours for prospective students and their families. Engaged and assisted prospective students at virtual and in person recruitment events. Assisted with Call Center operations, event setup/breakdown and served in Student Panels. Also assisted prospective students in Portal Navigation and the application process.
