Conversion Planner
* Developed a Land Mobile Platform Installation/Conversion Plan identifying platform types, quantities and unit affiliations from MoD supplied worldwide data. Liaised with the MoD representative to plan vehicle input by type and quantity against the MoD Force Readiness Cycle. This included 18,000 platforms across 5 continents with over 1,000 different vehicle designs and more than 80 different types of vehicles across 3 services.* Collaborated with a team of software developers to deliver a planning system that was robust enough to enable 'live' planning of multiple scenarios based upon operational and training deployment plans. Plan was used to identify scheduling from unit level conversion dates down to platform delivery and to carry out basic resource planning for installation and support staff.* Generated a production facility from a brownfield site that met all current legislative standards and was capable of delivering up to 80 fully integrated military vehicles per week. Developed a Statement of Work to enable the complete upgrade of a vehicle storage hangar into a facility suitable for installing electronic communication systems into a wide variety of wheeled and tracked military vehicles. This included the complete upgrade of all electrical requirements (240V and 413V), all workshop lighting, vehicle exhaust extraction, heating, office and workshop infrastructure.
