From the first day I got access to the the internet, I was hooked on digital communities. I remember finding chat rooms immediately & being amazed that I could communicate with people across the country. Since then, my interest in digital communities and communications has only grown. In college, I developed relationships in the greater community by founding the Lawrence Tweetups (www.ltwup.com). This group grew 10 fold in one month due to our outreach over Twitter & continued to grow during the year that I was involved, hosting monthly evening & lunch tweetups. In 2009, My tweets were syndicated during President Obama's Inauguration by the National Post of Canada.I've since parlayed those experiences into a successful career in social media marketing and now communities.
