When I was ten, I boarded a plane to Australia by myself and spent three weeks in the country down under. Until that point, I had never been on a plane before -- I'd like to think that trip set a general tone for my life. Of course, the trip wasn't quite as unsupervised as a random kid ending up in the Outback. I met up at the airport with some chaperones as part of a large group of students experiencing the world through travel. To say that I was defined by experiences I had at the age of ten would be pedantic and frankly, wrong. The trip did, however, teach me to be fearless. In the briefest summary, I learned to learn. I learned how to ask questions, how to navigate through problems and come to solutions. I learned how to achieve for myself the things I wanted. These qualities are things that I value to this day and things that I bring with me wherever I go. That's changed from being ten and wanting to pet a kangaroo; now, I'm more focused on actively changing the world I see around me. That passionate, tireless core is the same though. My skills are more refined and technical these days: HTML, CSS, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, and Photoshop. I'm energetic, passionate, and engaged, with excellent writing abilities and a proven ability to quickly learn new assigned tasks.Contact me at: brianasantos13@gmail.com
