I love tackling challenges, and excel at bringing new ideas to the table and operationalizing them. My uber-honesty and humour have helped me build great relationships with colleagues and clients over the past 20 years. I particularly enjoy working on government, education and non-profit projects, and care about under-represented groups having equal and supportive access to jobs, education, and skills. I am actively helping to shift the gender imbalance in the tech industry by: focusing on inclusion and belonging at Radical, SimpliCity, and our wider community, participating on panels and advisory committees, originally bringing App Camp for Girls to Vancouver, and being past Co-Chair of Women in Communications and Technology, BC Chapter (WCTBC), whose mission is to inspire and advance women as leaders in Canada’s digital economy. Just don't get me started (or do!) about my love of travel, experiencing other cultures and the world. There's so much to learn and understand about ourselves and others when we are taken out of our comfort zone.
