Group Director, Media Buying
Current• Reports to VP, Media Operations, overseeing end-to-end media investments for Broadcast TV/Radio, Network TV/Radio, OOH, Print, Print Yellow Pages, all external digital vendors, and the internal digital teams (programmatic, search and social).• Ensures operational efficiency across all execution teams by refining agency processes regularly.• Collaborates with Accounts, Strategy and Planning teams regularly to align on campaign plans, client needs, and to determine appropriate vendors to achieve client goals.• Collaborates with Digital Ad Ops and Analytics teams to ensure flawless campaign execution and goal achievement.• Collaborates with Accounting regularly to refine agency reconciliation processes.• Manages a team of fourteen consisting of Associate Directors, Buying Supervisors, Media Managers, and Associates.• Manages external partner agency relationships and processes.• Provides leadership, training, and technical guidance to ensure team engagement and growth.• Monitors industry trends, provides POVs, and ensures accurate audience projections.• Facilitates cross-departmental meetings and brainstorming sessions to ensure overall agency efficiency and improve collaboration.• Manages vendor relationships throughout the local media industry.• Supervises broadcast traffic operations and media market buys; addresses and escalates issues as needed.
