Profile bio

About Briana Martin, Mspe

Welcome to my profile! Thank you for joining me on this journey of mine. Throughout my numerous ventures, as detailed below, I have learned valuable lessons. The most important thing I’ve learned is that, at my core, I love self-expression through writing. My unique relationship with words allows me to analyze them and creatively piece them together in diverse contexts -- two critical skills that I acquired in my studies in Rhetoric and Journalism at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Though words have my heart, I believe that numbers are equally important. Therefore, I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Policy Evaluation at Rice University. Within this program, I studied and evaluated policies that matter to me. Those include criminal and juvenile justice and early childhood development and education. Rather than primarily using words for analysis, I indulged in numbers and data! I am eager, yet curious, to see where this experience will take me. Ultimately, if you learn one thing about me after reading this, know that I love a challenge and I am committed to seeing my goals through. Thank you for your time! Continue reading below to hear my perspective on what I have learned from my experiences thus far!
