As CEO, I was responsible for budget, CAPEX, OPEX, P&L, HR, supply chain, strategy, sales, marketing, bizdev and training. We opened offices in 5 strategic departments of Cameroon and created a network of 30 sales and service points for a new range of MTN and CanalSat products. I trained and motivated a staff of 75, enabling Avilyos to become the prime provider of technical services to MTN-NS. Avilyos installed for MTN a network of DOCSIS Internet base stations, a network of Redline WiMAX base stations, Radwin PTP and PTMP stations, 3000 CPEs and numerous microwave links and GSM BTS. I oversaw the joint development with MTN of a service delivery platform incorporating OSS, BSS and CRM functionality. I led the company in the establishment of the first digital TV station (DVB-T) in the region, providing 25-channel coverage to Douala and surrounding areas. We provided VSAT hub services and space segment to banks and breweries in Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, Gabon and Burkina Faso, and satellite uplink facilities to local TV and radio stations. Training was provided to the Cameroon Regulatory Authority and to clients of the Centre de Maintenance des Télécommunications, Lomé, Togo.
