• Played critical role in developing proposal that lead to securing $18.2 million NSF grant for CELEST (Center for Excellence in Learning, Science, and Technology). Subsequently served as CELEST technology manager, ensuring that the technological needs of all members of CELEST were met.• Researched, evaluated, and installed Department wide back-up system (Overland Storage Neo tape library and Arkeia Network Backup software). This system proved invaluable as it prevented catastrophic data loss on several occasions when disk failures occurred.• Designed and installed Department-wide email, web, file and directory server which consolidated 3 different systems into one, saving maintenance costs and upkeep time. Seamlessly upgraded to new hardware twice while suffering no downtime.• Spearheaded effort to upgrade building security system which led to the installation of 2 new IP enabled cameras monitored by Boston University Police Department, new door intercom system and new card reader system integrated with central BU services.• Worked closely with faculty, staff, and graduate students, meeting with them both individually and in groups to ensure that their technological needs were met. Over 90 students received their doctorate and over 40 received their masters degree during this period.

Achieved 100% uptime for both network and systems.
