In this role, Mr. Browning supported Ektron's sales efforts by working with Enterprise and medium-sized customers to align their business needs with Ektron-based solutions. He also worked with current and new Ektron partners to ensure their success in delivering Ektron-based web sites. Based in Richmond, VA, his responsibilities included conducting strategy projects for medium and Enterprise-class customers, assisting partners in expanding their Ektron business and serving as a subject matter expert in speaking engagements, social media and other media channels.Previously with Ektron, Mr. Browning served as the Senior Director of Client Services. The Client Services team is responsible for providing Professional Services delivery, training support and best practices consultation for Ektron customers around the world. In this previous role, Mr. Browning was responsible for the development and enforcement of the Ektron web site development methodology, provided strategic leadership around internal delivery processes and guided the Ektron Training team and internal Project Management Office. Mr. Browning served as the User Experience Practice Manager at Venturi Technology Partners (later re-branded to COMSYS), overseeing a team of graphic designers, web developers and testers to deliver web sites for important clients, including: Senior Navigator.com, ABC Bakers public web sites, a public web site for Christian & Barton attorneys, a public web site for the County of Albemarle, VA, an Intranet for the American Cancer Society’s Mid-Atlantic Division and an e-Forms web site for the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy.Mr. Browning also led the development of an e-learning course for Philip Morris USA that instructed workers in the manufacturing centers on appropriate attire and work practices to ensure that non-tobacco-related materials were kept out of the manufacturing process. Mr. Browning also worked with Capital One Bank, NA to produce its first ever public web site, along with an Intranet project and web site for America One, a provider of cell phones that was backed by Capital One. He also assisted in the development of graphical assets for MacXperts’ OraStar product, which connected Oracle databases to WebStar web servers (a prominent Macintosh-based web server).

During his tenure at DPI, Mr. Browning played a number of key roles, including the development of the user interface for Art-Scan and Art-Copy (DPI’s flagship software programs), retail sales support for product sales, creation of the Art-Scan and Art-Copy software documentation, desktop publishing for display ads in Computer Shopper, PC Magazine and many others and providing customer-facing technical support to existing customers.
