In this role, I lead a core team of volunteers who are working to end child bedlessness in our region. We facilitate community and corporate events to build and deliver these beds--more than 800 to date. Our mission is to make sure that "No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town".

- Supervised 7 military journalists dispersed in an austere combat environment, ensuring timely delivery and marketing of their media products to state-side media outlets- Vetted and advised command on feasibility-of-support for media embed requests to combat units- Developed communications plans for combat operations, VIP visits, and training events ensuring themes and messages were delivered to external media outlets- Developed and managed an annual budget to train and equip more than 30 personnel for global public affairs requirements

- Co-produced 100+ episodes of a weekly, 30-minute public affairs program, leveraging resources of a full production team to distil complex defense policy to a global audience- Interviewed top Defense Department and government leaders including Secretaries of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff chairmen, service chiefs, combatant commanders, and a Secretary of State, providing audience with timely, relevant DoD information- Served as “backpack journalist” responsible for developing, shooting, interviewing, writing, editing, and narrating more than 200 stories- Anchored several hundred live and taped programs ranging from one-minute news breaks and half-hour programs to multi-day location shoots and documentaries- Supervised and led a 6-person staff as an operations chief for a regional military news outlet in Afghanistan, reemploying resources to increase production by 100%
