I am Technician Level certified in NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue, Swift Water Rescue and Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue. I am in compliance with all Covid vaccination protocols. I maintain a commitment to continuing personal and professional development and am conversational in Spanish. I maintain a work/life balance with a strong focus on physical fitness and mental wellbeing.My love of the outdoors had me teaching snowboarding to a client base that varied in age and ability. I sharpened my communication and leadership skills through effective engagement and positive encouragement and support. During college and university, I juggled work as a bartender and server in the hospitality industry. My customer service and complaint resolution skills were challenged as I provided respectful and honest interaction while building and maintaining a safe and respectful workplace. I built a reputation based on character, integrity and a strong work ethic. I continue to expand my transferable skills and am now employed as a Medical First Responder and Ski Patroller. I am committed to continuous high-performance training needed to function safely and effectively at any emergency. I am competent in following the chain of command and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. I am an effective problem solver and display leadership skills and compassion for all persons in need of help.
