Provide policy and compliance guidance on new tariff developments, FERC filings, compliance with state guidelines and service policy as it relates to compliance with tariff-related regulation and NERC policies. Responsible for the integration of business overall processes with the Customer and Field Operations compliance program and coordination with the corporate compliance officer.

Provide Corporate governance and oversight of switchyard maintenance and reliability initiatives at the Monticello and Prairie Island Nuclear Plants. Responsible for the oversight and coordination of Xcel Energy Nuclear group's compliance to NERC Reliability standards.Develop and maintain Xcel Energy's Nuclear Interface Agreements with support organizations which provide maintenance and engineering support functions to Xcel Energy's Nuclear Organization.

Responsible for smooth execution of scheduled work activities in the electrical maintenance department by interfacing and coordinating with the station work groups and processes. Responsible for review of the work that is to be executed each day, lead daily crew briefings, work assignments, and conduct pre job briefings. Served as a nuclear power plant operator and supervisor aboard a US Navy submarine (USS Alabama, SSBN-731) Electricians Mate First Class, Shutdown Reactor Operator, Engineering Watch Supervisor.Taught basic reactor plant theory and operations with an emphasis on electric power generation, transfer and distribution at a land based navy nuclear power training unit. Also responsible for operation, troubleshooting and repair of various reactor plan related equipment.Taught basic electricity and electronics theory in classroom and lab environments at Navy Nuclear Power Program A-School.
