At NASA HQ, in the Science Mission Directorate supports the Heliophysics Division as Program Executive for the Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission (MMS). Guides and oversees the MMS mission through its key phases which are currently completion of development, launch, commissioning, and start of primary operations. Guides and oversees MMS through the SMD development process, leading to convergence of a set of cost, schedule, technical and risk parameters. Serves as the executive secretary for project Program Management Council meetings. Provides budget recommendations to the Division Director during the budget development process. Revie3ws/approves draft press releases from Office of Communication. Facilitates communication between project office, Principal Investigator, Program Office, and Headquarters organizations. Briefs Division and SMD management on project progress and any significant issues at the monthly Flight Program Review and other meetings.

Currently working in the Strategic Investments Division/Program Analysis & Evaluation at NASA Headquarters. The Strategic Investments Division is responsible for evaluating the Agency's portfolio of programs to assure that we have the correct mix of programs necessary to accomplish the NASA mission. To accomplish this, the Division: Analyzes the technical, programmatic, and institutional investment options available to the Agency; Evaluates mission-related programs and projects to ensure cost effectiveness, quality, performance, and strategic alignment; In coordination with the OCFO, ensures that budget formulation and execution is consistent with the Agency’s strategic investment decisions; and Issues Agency programmatic and institutional strategic guidance. Strategic Investments also coordinates and publishes the following annual plans and reports in accordance with the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA): NASA Strategic Plan (in coordination with the Studies and Analysis Division); NASA Performance Plan; and the Performance and Accountability Report.

Worked in various capacities in the Office of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency at the Department of Energy supporting federal efforts to support increased efficiency and renewable energy through research and development, federal standards, and consumer outreach programs. Lead the effort for performance management for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy as well as strategic planning efforts.
