Our team represented 25-35+ television stations around the United States. Responsibilities included understanding the ratings and performance of competitive stations in the markets and negotiating the best possible media buys for such stations.

Account executive selling leading local ABC television programming to ad agencies and assorted community business. Specialized in new business development and in securing leading share of the local ad buys through presentation of station rating strengths and unique programming sponsorship opportunities.

Developed an early CRM program for the salon industry. Primarily a sophisticated filing system. As technology allowed we ported this service over to the development of two POS software products that helped salon owners to fully manage their business. I designed and coordinated product development with the programmers. We developed the program in FoxPro - a text-based procedurally oriented programming language and DBMS, originally published by Fox Software and later by Microsoft, for MS-DOS, Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX.Our software install based grew to 150+ salons in Southern California; however, the large hair product companies jumped into the arena and we were unable to gain distribution fast enough to take advantage of the growth curve that the industry ultimately realized. I moved on into the broadcasting arena.
