DevOps engineer responsible for installation and support of Linux AWS services as well as providing development support to a small development team. This position started as a full time engagement but has since transitioned to an active, part time consulting agreement. Detailed responsibilities include:* Setup and maintain Linux based services on AWS primarily consisting of Ruby on Rails applications.* Automation of repeatable processes including custom scripting.* Support development team by providing tools and troubleshooting as needed.* Application release management and deployment.* Maintain and clean up a legacy Microsoft environment (IIS & SQL Server).* Monitoring and backups of all services.* Management of large Wordpress environment hosted on WP Engine.
