Hired to work directly for the Managing Partner of Andersen's New England operations, I was responsible for making CFO, Venture Capital and Private Equity introductions to Partners & Managers of the firm in order to develop new client relationships.

As President of the Boston office, I played a critical role in orchestrating the company's IPO in 1995 and helped create a national specialty in the executive level staffing of CFOs and Controllers for interim and project engagements. During my 23 year career at Romac (renamed kForce after our IPO), I developed a tremendous number of trusted relationships with finance and accounting professionals, CEOs, Big 4 Partners,and Venture Capitalists across a wide range of clients. Through visiting thousands of new venture backed startups, established Fortune 1000 companies, family & closely held businesses and other professional service providers (CPAs & Attorneys), I was able to develop very strong personal as well as business relationships. Add to that the numbers of "candidates" who I have personally interviewed, referred to clients, placed or just shared some market advice gives you a sense of the breadth and power of my network.

Four years as CPA provided a great technical foundation for my recruiting abilities as well as a network of professionals who have utilized our recruiting services and referred countless clients to us over the years. Many of the contacts established in those early years have gone on to be CFOs, CEOs, Venture Capitalists, as well as Presidents of Companies and now sit in decision makings positions on high profile Boards.
