First step was QA to form manual and automated teams, recruited, and mentored as well as identified processes, procedures, and tools. After startup was acquired, provided QA for critical areas of medications, ONC health IT certifications, and vendor certifications.- Performed QA of 72 medication stories, enabling providers to quickly record allergies and historical meds, prescribe meds to patients, and electronically respond to pharmacy refill requests.- Created 830 manual test cases (37% of regression suite), empowering team of 10 to consistently verify app behavior and performance prior to UAT and production release.- Identified 686 defects in internal test with 92% triaged as critical and fixed before UAT release, significantly improving user experience and productivity.- Conducted 80% work from home as medication QA to DevOps for Go/No Go for initial release, 7 major releases, and 6 hotfixes, adding functionality and releasing quickly, meeting needs.- Provided strategic direction to create plans, processes, activities, and procedures, reducing risk and ensuring software releases were ahead or on schedule.- Started automated quality team to evaluate and select automation software, implementing continuous delivery and improvement.- Mentored and trained 15 QAs in app behavior of system user flows, medications, formulary, pharmacies, drug utilization review, and allergies, helping to rapidly bring team up to speed as productive employees.
