Senior Software Engineer
Los Angeles, Us
For 10 years, I worked remotely as an independent full-stack software developer, primarily responsible for the architecture, engineering, and support of one of the most active public forum systems on the internet at that time. The multi-tenant system hosted forums for IGN, GameSpy, Vault Network, Midway Games, TheForce.net, and ChickClick (first deployment). The product, known as SnowBoards, was initially built using ASP 3.0, VBScript, and SQL Server. It was later fully rewritten using C#, ASP.NET, and MVC. After running successfully for over a decade, SnowBoards was eventually replaced by a managed service in 2010.The SnowBoards framework also powered a blogging engine for editorial staff and a wiki-style user content submission system. This experience is the most memorable and proudest part of my career. Feel free to ask me anything about it!
