Business development manager hired to focus on new business development. Responsible for selling training programs to life science companies. During my first year my territory generated $1.2m in sales, accounting for 13% of total 2014 training revenues at Tricore Technology. Post acquisition of Tricore my territory continued to lead other territories in new revenue and renewed training contracts as the corporate business model transitioned from training service provider, to learning and performance improvement strategic services, to tier 2 advertising agency renamed Guidemark Health.

New business development of accredited, live or web-based medical education (CME). Total CME sales grew from $3m to >$8m in 3 years. New customers from pharma companies in the cardiometabolic markets included Daiichi Sankyo, Merck, Solvay, Abbott Labs and others. At the same time, with the support of Joslin management, I conceptualized and launched three new revenue streams. One, training programs, generated nearly $3m in revenue over a three year period from pharma sales teams nationwide. Non-accredited education program sales generated +$2.2m over three years and included nationally recognized programs including NutritionIQ, targeting supermarket consumers, and HealthSeeker, the largest English/Spanish health related Facebook game in 2010 and 2011. Other successful ventures I led included exhibit sales at Joslin-sponsored medical events and initiation of clinical research study relationships with pharma and device companies developing cardiometabolic therapies.
