As an ECMO Services Manager at UVA Health, I lead a team of highly skilled and experienced ECMO specialists who provide life-saving extracorporeal life support (ECLS) for patients of all age groups. I have over 9 years of experience in ECMO therapy and respiratory care, with a strong background in neonatal, pediatric, and adult cardiopulmonary and circulatory support. I hold the Adult and Pediatric Certified ECMO Specialist (CES-A and CES-P) credentials from the International Board of Blood Management, demonstrating my advanced knowledge and skills in ECLS.My mission is to ensure safety and effectiveness while embracing a multidisciplinary and faceted patient care approach across the ECMO department.
