Global business leader for Wood’s process technology and equipment supply service line inclusive of Americas and European operations. Portfolio includes blue hydrogen, plastics recycling solutions, low-carbon synthetic natural gas, and fired equipment among others.• Strategic leadership – Created vision for decarbonization of Wood’s entire process-technology portfolio with the aim to reduce our carbon emissions by 40%. Established Wood’s initial US-based hydrogen-focused team to focus on emerging opportunities through gaining and disseminating market insights attained through engagement with early-mover UK and European markets. Maintained appropriate executive stakeholder engagement to ensure buy-in.• Cross-cultural collaboration – Led a cross-cultural team of 200 across six offices located in North America and Europe. Built a global team and enhanced engagement with a focus on positioning our organization for a decarbonized future.• Strategy planning – Generated a roadmap to achieve $200 million of sector growth through for Wood’s global renewable fuels and hydrogen businesses by synthesizing engineering, energy market, macroeconomic, and emerging policy insights. Efforts included multiple-horizon planning for R&D, business case development, as well as translating strategy into actionable objectives.• Thought leadership and industry collaboration – Produced and delivered numerous thought-leadership engagements via conferences, podcasts, and other means. Built valuable cooperation channels with industry and government stakeholder organizations.• Strategic partnering – Led and sponsored establishment of five key alliances to exploit strategic adjacencies to Wood’s technology portfolio from initial screening, introductions, joint value creation ideation, heads-of-terms structuring and negotiation, formal alliance agreements, and ongoing relationship management creating pipeline booking opportunities in excess of $100 million annually.
