This role involved: • Design and verification training in using Verilog. • Working with the company on a project proposal which was submitted to the Dublin Institute of Technology. • Implementing a MicroBlaze soft-processor on a Xilinx FPGA. • Writing C on the embedded system to achieve goals outlined in the proposal.

Worked in Xilinx Research Labs on the Xilinx Versal ACAP AI Engine, my responsibilities were to:• Write hardware simulation test-cases in Python/C++/Assembly.• Monitor regression framework of all test-cases and debug failing tests.• Update the registers database upon hardware revision releases.• Update documentation for the architecture using Doxygen.• Report compiler issues with ASIP Programmer to Synopsys SolvNet.• Open/Manage cases in JIRA for tracking bugs and unfinished tasks.
