I write a regular column for Cannabis Science & Technology magazine called "Cannabis Analysis". The column's purpose is to teach the basic concepts of analytical chemistry to those in the cannabis industry new to the field, and to act as a refresher and intellectual stimulant to those experienced in the field. A goal of the column it to make the case for the need for more and better testing in the cannabis industry. As an editorial board member I will work to advise the publisher, UMB, on the magazine's content and peer review articles.

Helped build and use an Infrared Reflection Absorption Spectroscopy (IRRAS) system to study catalysis and adhesion on metal surfaces from ambient pressure to high vacuum. Wrote computer programs in FORTRAN to model the spectra obtained.
