During the day, he was designing multi-million dollar air conditioning projects. At night, he would program software programs for Optisoft. His engineering talent and business savvy prompted his employer to allow him to start and successfully grow a new Orlando engineering branch office. Brian then led a successful turn-around for another engineering company. He sold Optisoft to a California firm during this time but continued to design new software solutions and started his second software company - BCA Technologies in 1997.Brian then started his own engineering consulting company BCA Consulting and Design which he was the leader and completed over 450 successful projects. He sold his firm in 2007 to a national engineering firm GRAEF. After the sale of the engineering firm, Brian then focused on building BCA Technologies. He worked with manufacturer's C-Suite to help them automate their sales and quoting processes using eRep's CPQ software technology. Some of these were billion-dollar public companies and mid-size private companies. He provided added-value experience beyond software by helping clients strategies on how to grow sales and increase customer satisfaction. He sold BCA Technologies in 2021 to VC backed Revalize.Brian has always been a listener, learner and doer. Specialized in MEPF design, energy studies, humidity investigations and solutions, data centers, DDC controls and chiller plant systems. Sold in 2007 to GRAEF-USA, a 300 person mid-west full service engineering firm.I wasn't the type who just stayed in the office - I spent a lot of time with Building Owners, Facility managers, maintenance, and contractors working together out in the field, troubleshooting comfort, control and energy problems which provided invaluable "real world" knowledge and experience of the entire design-construction-maintenance-replacement life cycle. I also helped architects with vapor barrier design (its different in humid climates) and large school districts with preparing maintenance guidelines and MEPF design guidelines to provide a tool to give to other MEPF firms.Simultaneously, I owned and operated BCA Technologies in the same building. I provided the engineering and industry expertise for the design, programming, and testing of software selection and pricing products that we developed for various manufacturers.

PresidentOptisoft Technologies, Inc. 1987 - 1997Brian started the software company Optisoft right out of college and programmed and sold engineering and energy design tools for consulting engineers. One day, got a call from Titus, a dominate HVAC manufacturer of VAV boxes, GRDs, and acoustic panels. They asked "Can you write your program for our GRD product line?" I developed Titus' first VAV and GRD selection tools and they remained a client for 30 years (continuing on with BCA Technologies). Satisfying a client that long is rare with most software companies.I sold Optisoft to a California firm and started my second software company, BCA Technologies, as a new corporation.
