Managing Director and Co-Head of Private Capital Advisory at William Blair, providing best-in-class fund placement and secondary advisory services to leading private equity managers and limited partners on a global basis.Prior to William Blair, Managing Director and Co-Head of America’s Distribution within the Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, a market leading fund placement and secondary advisory business with >90 people across 12 offices globally. Responsible for distributing illiquid investment products among sophisticated institutional investors in North America and for overseeing the senior team responsible for raising a substantial majority of new capital commitments on behalf of Credit Suisse clients. During nearly eight year tenure, the Private Fund Group raised >$200 billion for more than 150 funds, secondary transactions and co-investment opportunities. At Credit Suisse, was the youngest lateral Managing Director hire in the Private Fund Group’s history, named to the global screening committee within first full year in the group, assumed leadership of East Coast distribution in mid 2017, which became the top producing region globally for five consecutive years and the only market to demonstrate year over year production growth during that period. Prior to Credit Suisse, Managing Director at Stanwich Advisors, a leading boutique private fund placement and advisory firm. Served as Head of Project Management and had distribution responsibility for strategically important institutional investors concentrated in the Northeast United States. Among first three professionals, actively involved in all aspects of building a successful fund placement business, assuming significant origination, distribution and management responsibility as the firm grew to nearly 20 employees based in North America and Europe. Graduate of Hamilton College, majored in economics. Captain of the men's golf team, Academic All-American, two-time NESCAC individual champion and Player of the Year, Liberty League individual champion and Player of the Year. Prior to Hamilton College, Varsity Letter Winner and Academic All Big Ten on men’s golf team at The Ohio State University.
