Part of a research team in the NIH/NCI Surgery Branch investigating the use of patient-derived tumor organoids and adoptive immunotherapies to treat a variety of cancers, including breast, lung, and colorectal cancers.

Involved with studies concerning intersections between resistances to antibiotics and metals in bacteria, aiming to suppress the development and proliferation of multi-drug resistant pathogens. Performed various lab techniques/assays such as bacterial culture, multichannel pipetting, and DNA extraction.

Helped lead weekly seminars and content meetings as a head learning assistant to facilitate teaching pedagogy techniques and provide support to fellow learning assistants in addition to discussion/lab section facilitation responsibilities.
