Throughout my career, it has been exciting to lead small to large teams that serve the business needs. Experiences in both established organizations as well as multiple startups has rounded out my abilities as both a technologist and a business leader. I strive to bring an entrepreneur spirit to each organization and project at hand. Respect the business parameters, budget, and mission, but push the team to deliver projects at the speed of a startup. By implementing this culture along with best practices, then a winning outcome is ensured. Added benefits include building a team that is passionate about their work, colleagues, and company. This has held true whether working with revenues and budgets in the thousands or 25+ million.Technologies: In each of the primary technology areas (mainframe, client/server, web, and mobile), I have performed the roles of engineer, project manager, manager, and architect. The mainframe environments were mostly IBM. Client/server has been MS Sql Server, Oracle, DB2, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, etc. Web technology includes Microsoft (VB / C# / COM / .NET) and Open Source (RoR, PHP, MySql, PostgreSQL). Mobile platforms have encompassed iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry. Native and various development frameworks have been utilized on each OS. Through out all of these platforms, multiple networks, architectures, and frameworks were utilized. In addition to the successful deployments in each of these areas are the integrations implemented for these solutions – web services, API's, and EDI.
