- Spoke with various individuals and fielded their complaints or questions in regards to the DOT, and assisted them to the best of my ability.- Personally went out and looked at various complaints/concerns in order to get a better understanding of them, as well as to take pictures and send them to the appropriate people at DOT in order to best serve the caller's concern(s) and make sure that their concern(s) are handed off to the appropriate people if I myself cannot fully assist them.- Updating and managing social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr.- Through researching the Internet, compile daily clip bundle reports that are distributed to the entire DOT (these clip bundles include articles/information relevant to the Department, or transportation in general).- Assist with the planning and execution of press events.- Assist each of the three Public Affairs employees with daily tasks.- Helping with the organizing and updating of calendars and bulletin boards.
