Developed pillars of excellence within the Platform Team, through ideation, strategy, planning and execution, in core focus areas like DevOps, SRE, Observability, Performance, Developer Productivity, and Security. The Team owns the Developer Experience built on platforms such as AWS, Jira, GitLab and Grafana.As the Security Officer my Security team owns all Security and Compliance functions for the organization. This includes security posture, product security, risk management, compliance, external client risk assessments, successful SOC2 audits and keeping the organization HIPAA compliant. Also responsible for company usage policies including AI, HIPAA, and technology platforms. We utilize technologies such as Palo Alto VPNs and their Prisma cloud security posture tool, as well as many other supporting applications that serve functions such as DAST, SAST, SIEM, EDR etc. My Service Desk team owns all of the end user hardware and software services, helpdesk function and infrastructure that keeps the organization running. This includes core services such as Okta, Google Workspaces and Slack as well as on-site office technologies. Created a Support Engineering team to provide operations for the Product Engineering teams of the HealthJoy Product.As a director I also own a 3m+ budget, team building and mentorship, stakeholder management for which I interface with all parts of the company in different capacities, and drive the vision and direction for all four of my direct teams.
