Bank Integrity Unit, Money Laundering and Asset Recovery SectionAs a federal criminal prosecutor, my practice focused on the investigation and prosecution of financial institutions and individuals for violations of U.S. sanctions laws, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Securities Exchange Act, and related criminal offenses.

While on detail to the U.S. Attorney's Office, I worked on the investigation and prosecution of a wide range of federal felony and misdemeanor cases, including matters involving mail and wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, tax fraud, immigration offenses, and drug offenses.

My practice was primarily focused on government and internal investigations of large companies in the financial, healthcare, and manufacturing industries for alleged civil and criminal violations of U.S. sanctions and export control laws. In addition, I advised clients on a variety of compliance issues and assisted in the development of robust compliance programs, policies, and procedures addressing U.S. sanctions, export controls, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and corporate ethics.I also maintained a general litigation practice, assisting in the representation of clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including business contract disputes, business torts, insurance defense, data privacy class action defense, patent disputes, and securities matters.
