High Seas Partners - Since 2014 I have led High Seas Partners, a boutique private capital placement and business advisory firm based in Lehi, Utah, that matches growing companies, venture funds, and real estate projects with needed capital from institutional, family office, and high net worth sources. The firm also provides strategic business development guidance to companies looking to accelerate growth, and M&A advisory services in conjunction with capital raises.2. ReaderZone.com - As a passion project for children's literacy, I lead business development for the highly-rated reading program management platform "Reader Zone", which helps libraries and schools worldwide manage reading programs and strengthen literacy for readers of all ages.3. Corporate / Professional Development Training on More Effective Influence (Former Harvard Course Coach (8 years)) - I lead global workshops to help corporate, non profit, and public sector professionals become more effective influencers in their work and personal lives, using material developed by Harvard Professor Gary Orren and his renowned course on Persuasion, which he taught at Harvard for 40+ years, and which I helped him teach for eight years, from 2015-2022. As far afield as Australia, I've helped leaders in business, health care, academia, and non profits improve their ability to more persuasively advocate for their respective causes. In June 2024 my first audiobook narration was published and is available wherever audiobooks are sold. The book is "What the Single Eye Sees - Faith, Hope, Charity, and the Pursuit of Discipleship", and was written by Dr. Joseph Q. Jarvis. In it, Dr. Jarvis outlines a compelling spiritual worldview that resonates strongly with my own life experience (as a Christian, Latter-day Saint) and my sincere but halting pursuit of discipleship of Jesus Christ.5. Amelyore Digital Assets Fund - From 2020 to early 2023, I led fundraising and investor relations for the Amelyore Fund, an actively-managed hedge fund that invested in the liquid tokens and coins representing the future of blockchain and crypto-based finance on behalf of HNW and family office investors. 7. Earlier work - Prior to High Seas Partners, I spent 12 years leading high dollar fundraising, business development, strategic partnerships, and event management in entrepreneurial, national political, and other settings.
