All aspects of technology and operations, driving continuous improvement, completing special projects, serving on various committees, and ensuring smooth technical operations at 70+ satellite chapters. Reporting to the CEO and working with the Board of Directors, I am an integral part of the executive leadership team, defining department priorities, overseeing departmental budgeting/planning, and setting roadmaps and strategic plans. As CIO, I support all systems, security, help desk, networking, reporting, processing and data, database, and websites. Simultaneously, I serve as COO with authority for finance, HR, customer support, member services, professional development group, marketing/communications, and meetings and travel. I evaluate, propose, and implement business solutions, including reviewing processes and security for the annual audit. I also have an employee supervisory role and manage key vendor relationships.

This was a senior position where I provided leadership for a broad range of mission-critical systems and programs. My primary focus included customer service, technology, and application support. I also oversaw strategy development for new products, team leadership, and prioritization of IT investments. I selected, designed, and implemented solutions, network security, and system upgrades.

Provided the technology vision and leadership that was used to develop and implement new IT initiatives, optimize ROI, and enhance service delivery. I created strategy then oversaw the completion of upgrades or replacement of outdated technology platforms, software, and other critical systems.

Moving into a director role, I was directly responsible for all aspects of daily IT operations, including defining priorities and constantly searching for new technology that would improve service delivery. I evaluated existing systems and services for problems then developed solutions. Supervising a team of 3 employees, we were responsible for AS400, Windows, UNIX, network equipment, and the corporate internet and intranet sites. I also served as the primary contact with hardware and software maintenance vendors.

I quickly advanced from Assistant Manager to Manager, assuming a higher level of responsibilities and a larger scope of accountability. After the promotion, my role also included project management and daily management of computer operations. I developed backup and restore procedures, planned and executed security measures, improved hardware requirements, and determined system feasibility between end-users and technical staff.
