Brian D. Jacks is the founder and CEO of WiConnect, an adtech and advertising sales company that offers a suite of solutions focused on providing advertisers and ad platforms greater effectiveness while generating revenue for public Wi-Fi internet owners and operators.Previously, Brian served as VP Corporate Development North America of BAI. He performed business expansion activities which included establishing a Toronto-based team as interim CEO to deploy and monetize cellular and Wi-Fi infrastructure within subway systems, and oversaw Wi-Fi monetization in New York and Toronto while evaluating other expansion opportunities. Prior to joining BAI, Brian ran BD Strategy at DX Holdings, applying his vast experience leading a number of successful subsidiary launches. Brian has a reputation as a highly effective negotiator developing collaborative partnerships and accomplishing business goals. Previously, Brian provided leadership to a number of organizations at Crown Castle International (CCI), holding positions such as President and Chairman of the Board of two Verizon joint ventures and Area President of Tower Operations where he had P&L responsibility leading a 400+ organization managing over $2B in tower assets. He launched Crown Castle Solutions which sold, deployed, and operated Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) throughout the US.Prior to joining Crown Castle, Brian was the Executive Network Director for Verizon Wireless accountable for the expansion, performance and modernization of the NY Metro area wireless network.Brian holds a M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania recognized by both the Engineering and Wharton Schools and matriculated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In his community, Brian is Associate Pastor at Christ Church and oversees Marketplace ministries in the Montclair and Rockaway, NJ locations.
