Insurity – San Ramon, CA 9/2017-8/2018Senior IT Project Manager / Problem ManagerAccomplishments: Within first 90 days completed 2 SDLC Go-Lives. The first one for one of the company’s largest clients and the second for a new client. Additionally I was placed with another new client with over $22 million in revenue potential that the company had been trying to get business with for the last 5 years (The company’s largest client to date).• Worked within a PMO as the senior technical pm on staff.• Lead projects within the scope of ITSM, ie: hardware, network, and software upgrade projects. I function as a problem manager finding root cause, using the 5 why’s, fishbone analysis, and coming up with a long term remediation plan, getting funding, and C-level support as a part of the process.• Work with project teams of around 6 core SME’s including a DBA, SA, Solutions Architect, Network Admin, etc.• Set up regular meetings with clients keeping strong relations, keeping the project scope in play and deliverying both on time and on budget.• Manage project budget and client expectations around the budget as it pertains to the scope.• Create, manage and maintain the project plan for each and every project.• Have managed several internal and client facing projects.• Internal projects are IT centric and related to infrastructure upgrades, software enhancements, and integration projects.• Provide C-Level staff with bi-weekly project updates discussing status, accomplishments, next steps, remediating roadblocks, budget, timeline, etc. Worked closely with Directors, VP’s, and execs on client side as well.
